My contribution
My contribution is the new sound design, voice, music and Dolby Atmos mix. The original film animation is the source material for this university exercise.
Process
An enthusiastic advertising voice praises the hatchback, while rattling doors, a strained engine and shaky bodywork tell a different story. That contrast shapes the humour of the soundtrack.
I layered city ambience with upbeat synth music and MIDI bass and drums. As the car takes off, the music shifts into a faster dance track.
Result
A newly scored and mixed film scene. The video presents the sound redesign in sync with the original animation.
